Were any of you older ex GIs Stationed in France? I was stationed in La Rochelle France, at Jeumont and Laleu Kasernes, and looking for any pictures of these. We pulled out of France in the 60s, so trying to find any thing is rough.

If any of you happen to of been there, or know someone that was, I would sure appreciate scanned copies of the pictures.

My family was at Chaumont Air Base during the 50s. I doubt that's exactly what you're looking for. I know my dad had pictures but they're in storage. If you're interested I'll dig through them & see what I can find.

Thank you for the reply. Chaumont is not in the aea that I am working on, but I thank you for the offer. Chaumont was temporaryly closed in 59, then was reopened in 62 for a couple of years, then closed again in 67 as all the NATO troops left France.

Anyone else with some pictures of the Army camps around La Rochelle France?
