Default Stephen M. Ross & Eli Broad ?

As we enjoyed this weekend's in-state college football rivalry between the Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State Spartans, a thought came to mind in regards to the names of both the business schools.

The Ross School of Business and the Eli Broad College of Business are 2 very prestigious institutions among business leaders.

Stephen M. Ross and Eli Broad were Detroit natives, and obviously highly successful and wealthy.

Does anyone know if their offsprings and subsequent family lines pursue any contributions to Detroit, either directly or indirectly ?

Eli Broad is considered one of the top philanthropists in the world. He's donated money for charter schools in other cities and for non B-school related projects at MSU but I'm not sure what he's done in the Detroit area. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eli_Broad#Philanthropy

Eli Broad, a proud graduate of DPS, is paying Robert Bobb's salary and expenses for his year in charge of DPS, and has committed funds to the school system
