Default Stadiums, hotels warned to watch for terrorists

WASHINGTON – Counterterrorism officials have issued security bulletins to police around the nation about terrorist interest in attacking stadiums, entertainment complexes and hotels — the latest in a flurry of such internal warnings as investigators chase a possible bomb plot in Denver and New York.
In the two bulletins — sent to police departments Monday and obtained by The Associated attacking vital economic centers" as desired targets of the organization.
"While DHS and FBI have no information regarding the timing, location or target of any planned attack, we believe it is prudent to remind transit authorities to remain vigilant," Homeland Security spokesman Sean Smith said Monday night.

Yeppers, nothing better than creating hysteria to justify your job.

I looked in the dictionary, and there are no pictures of terrorists.

    What do they look like?!

If it is by the strict definition, number 2 in the on-line dictionary.com reads:
a person who terrorizes or frightens others.
So, anyone working in either hotels or stadia needs to deny access to ALL counter-terrorism officials. Airports, too. You cannot be too safe.

Oh man, they blew up Tiger Stadium!!!!!

Great, now thanks to the Bush Administration, nobody will take these alerts seriously.

Rational people take the credible alerts based on real intel seriously. Regardless of the propaganda put out there by the left against GWB.

Real intel, like the WMDs that were in Iraq?

"Wolf" was cried so many times that rational people [[rightfully) question the credibility of these alerts.

Real intel, the best that exists....will it be 100% accurate? Of course not, how could it? What alternates exist however?

    Real intel, not fabricated--important difference.

And the onus for any such desensitization rightfully belongs on those who falsely cried wolf.

Why can't some adults heed the simple lesson of a childhood fable?

    Blinded by profit, I suppose.

Ask Valerie Plame about real intel.

Rational people know that when you've been lied to multiple times by an authority entity, you question the entity, particularly when the same subject matter comes up again.

Ignorant partisans, however, don't question anything related to their party as they are selfishly and stupidly unAmerican.

In order for a False Flag Operation to fully function, I think there must be some pre-sell...something to hint to the population that something is about to happen so they pay attention.

real intel is the operative phrase here. There is soooooo much evidence that the Bushies fudged intel and cherry-picked [[often from sources deemed less than credible) that several books and articles have been written on the subject, even from "right wing" authors

I think this time, it is wise to use caution. The few people the FBI caught were just part of the scheme and they don't have information on the rest of the plan. It does seem to make sense just to be careful.
PS-Bush and cronies over did the warnings, but new people are in charge now. Maybe the warnings actually mean something?

Who was doing the lying? What was the motive? How is the recipient of the information to know of it's validity other than the trust placed in the intelligence collecting agency?

There was a Joel Henry Hinrichs III who exploded before entering a U of Oklahoma stadium in 2005. He was said to be a Muslim convert by his Pakistsni roommate. The President of the U if Oklahoma tried to make it sound like the poor fellow had just shown up outside a stadium of 84,000 people to commit suicide. His father didn't think that Joel the Third was a Muslim.

Obama is ignoring the recommendations from his hand picked general [[he has had them in hand for nearly a month now). He is too busy to make a decision, yet he can appear on David Letterman and 5 other shows this past Sunday.
