Default Consider Detroit If You Fear Climate Change Hitting Your City.

    Interesting....

Consider Detroit If You Fear Climate Change Hitting Your City | Watch

If this comes to fruition... this would have a major future effect on population growth, and property values would go thru the roof.

No, Michigan has a blue Governor, blue Attorney General, blue Secretary of State, and 2 blue US Senators... but you already knew that...

We just had some voters who were confused last time...

^ Michigan is somewhat purple. Black, latino, middle east and other populations no longer default vote democrat without questioning shifting dem policies and ideologies. That doesn't necessarily mean a full shift to the right. But more are taking a heterodox approach to politics - no longer party fixed.

Democratic hopefuls would do well to find out what voters/ tax payers value and prioritize. The status quo of ever-delivered unquestioning democratic votes changed. The democratic power elite [if it can] must carefully evaluate why the swing this election. Scolding and name calling ain't gonna cut it.

The climate is changing and polluters such as China need to check their contributions quickly, yet are firing up their coal plants bigger and faster each year. However, looking at states like California we know that their failed policies are not what Michigan should be adopting!

Yes, I can see that considering the eh-uh, offering already on the books and then that last minute [three month] coronation ......

Like former president Biden said he would have 'won' his reelection bid!

Why wouldn't you say the same for Republican hopefuls?

^ I DO! If Trump, for example, keeps up the scatter-shot approach to sending back illegal immigrants rushed-in by Biden the repubs will loose votes from the Latino community.

But we were talking about why the DEMS lost.

    You dig.

This is true, but it might be temporary... Besides, the GOP thinks climate change is a hoax. That's why Dump is talking about eliminating FEMA. They aren't looking for solutions for it. They want to let climate change continue to destroy the country.

This is a lie, we are not a red state.

And I would absolutely love more left voters here.

Odd thing is, in Canada, red equals Liberal Party, while blue is for the Conservatives.

And of course red has been universally associated with Communism.

Fun fact: There was a time in the U.S. when the colours were reversed. Before that there was a time when there were no colours associated with parties — because colour TV hadn't been invented and newspapers were printed with only black ink.

About the only party colour to make sense is The Green Party because, you know, chlorophyll.

Colours are simply an easy way to heard hotheads.

The opposite it true, at least among Latino, Asians etc that can vote.

They HATE the illegals, with a passion.

Imagine you are a recently made citizen. You came here legally, left your family, jumped through all the hoops, got a green card, perhaps got married, learned the language, studied American history, took and passed the tests and interviews and became a citizen.

Then millions simply break in and are let stay. You'd be livid.

The foreign invader issue is the biggest thing driving legal immigrants TO Trump and other moderates.

    Why do you hate Michigan?

There is a limit to how many Blue voters a state / city can take before it gets destroyed. Look at LA, Frisco, Seattle, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, etc.

Mind you, that musky feller just founded a new potty. This is going to make things more interesting. Who is he going to pick to run against the billionaire cabal and its trusty pilot fishes? He needs a charismatic figure, a George Clooney type, but as Centrist as they come, because the old parties seem to offer only centrism as an alternative. What square peg will he find that will let him/herself be pushed into the round hole he has in mind for them? Lol

Highly unlikely? Have you seen all the tornadoes we've had so far this year? The massive flooding in Texas, where 80 people have died, and more are not accounted for. And hurricane season hasn't even started yet. Are you living under a rock or in a coma? It's going to get worse every year. It's called Climate Change.
