WDIV-TV [Channel 4] placed Hank Winchester on leave amid an investigation involving the consumer investigative reporter."We here at Local 4 have been made aware of an external investigation regarding Hank Winchester. As of this time, he has been placed on administrative leave. While the investigation is ongoing — we won’t make any further comments," wrote WDIV Vice President and General Manager Bob Ellis in a statement June 18.

It hasn't been confirmed; it may just be a rumor. But I hear he came on to a male massage therapist. Creep stuff if it's that, or child porn. If true, he's done at WDIV. You just never know what lurks inside a person. Sad.

... depending on what happens in this investigation, looks like the streaming value of Mr. Winchester's past investigations may be torched. WDIV may scrub them from their website archives.

I wonder who WDIV may get to be their consumer issues reporter.
Would they reach back to try and get Jason Carr?

Carr burned too many bridges at Fox 2. Employees said he was a jerk to work with. That's why he was unceremoniously let go. Ain't gonna happen.

Not disagreeing but some people are hired because they're jerks. Lord knows I've worked with enough of them. Although in some situations they're nice to have around, like angry guard dogs.
