Any chance these guys and gals drop their Beemers and buy Lincolns instead? Bastids.
Waiting to see Steve Lehto's take on this, which should be interesting. He's a lemon law lawyer based in Southfield, who does excellent Youtube videos discussing legal stuff in the news.
If he doesn't respond that might mean he's involved {although this story seems to be mostly based in California}.
Maybe, but he's talked about being sued before. Most recently by a crooked repair shop he got a settlement against a few years back. They sued him claiming he fraudulently collected the court-ordered damages for his client. He won a summary judgement, then got the opposing council sanctioned as the lawsuit was completely improper [[they were essentially suing him for loosing a lawsuit as the window for appeal was years gone.)
We're gonna sue you to make you stop suing us over our stuff that made you sue us.
They get sued all the time in every state. It's a handful of particular law firms, whom are apparently triple-billing that Ford is suing. The law is pretty strict when it comes to lawyers dealing with money. If it's proven they are fudging their billing they could be sanctioned or even disbarred. If their claims are true, as in one lawyer billed 24 hours of time across three different cases in one day, the lawyers are pretty much hosed.

They also say they have been working with federal authorities.
