    Marche Du Nain Rouge

    Help ward off Detroit’s harbinger of doom, the Nain Rouge, during this annual parade and celebration. Parade krewes will present human-powered floats, musical performances, and themed costumes.     STOMP

    An eight-member troupe uses matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps, and anything that isn’t a conventional percussion instruments to create electrifying rhythms during this pulse-pounding show.     Rain: A Tribute to The Beatles

    Backyard Pool & Spa Show

    Spring is officially here and now is the time to start thinking about your backyard space. This show gives you the chance to talk to industry experts including builders, service staff, and retailers; check out in- and above-ground pools, spas, hot tub, and patio displays; and learn about swim safety.     Sebastian Maniscalco

    This prolific comedian and actor has performed on a seemingly endless list of late-night shows, including The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Conan, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Maniscalco’s knack for nostalgic storytelling, impeccable timing, and distinctive physical comedy have made him one of the most successful touring comedians of the last 10 years — he boasts more consecutive performances at Madison Square Garden than any other comedian.     Experience Hendrix 2025

    After a six-year hiatus, this Jimi Hendrix tribute is back with an all-star line-up of artists including Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Eric Johnson, Noah Hunt, Henri Brown, Kevin McCormick, and many others celebrating the music and legacy of Hendrix by performing his greatest hits.     The Spinners

    With a legacy spanning over six decades, The Spinners are one the most iconic R&B groups in history. See them perform some of their biggest hits like I’ll Be Around, Could It Be I’m Falling in Love, The Rubberband man, and others. March 22. $35-$79.     Daddy-Daughter Dance

    Dads and their daughters get all dolled up for a special evening filled with music spun by a live DJ, dancing, and refreshments. Each girl will be given a special gift.     Kimberly Akimbo

    Based on the 2001 play by David Lindsay-Abaire, this Tony Award-winning musical follows Kimberly Levaco, a 16-year-old girl with a rare condition that causes her to age rapidly. When her family relocates to a new town, Kimberly must navigate a new school, a new crush, and family dysfunction as her health quickly deteriorates. Now-March 23. $45+. Fisher Theatre, 3011 W.     Lightplay

    This art show features artful ceramic lamps created by local ceramic artists Elliott Kayser and Kate Tremel.
