Detroit St. Patrick’s Parade
Head to Corktown to enjoy one of the oldest St. Patrick’s Day parades in the country. This year marks the 67th for this annual event, which includes pipe and drum bands, color guard units, floats, clowns, and novelty groups. Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater
Founded in 1958 by legendary choreographer, dancer, and activist Alvin Ailey, this New York-based modern dance company aims to communicate the lived experiences of Black Americans through stunning modern choreography. The institution has performed in 71 countries and was designated in 2008 as a “vital American cultural ambassador to the world” by the United States Congress. March 14-16. $30+. Royal Oak St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Peter Pan
The musical that’s charmed children and families for nearly 70 years returns to the Fox Theatre this month in a new, refreshed adaptation by acclaimed playwright Larissa FastHorse.
