Detroit Autorama
The 72nd annual Detroit Autorama, presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts, includes more than 800 custom hot rods, trucks, and motorcycles alongside special guest appearances and themed competitions. North South West Party
This third annual community tradition is split into three areas: North, South, and West. In the North, fire and ice take center stage with old drum fires, cocktails, line dancing, and après-ski vibes; down South, escape to a tropical paradise that offers hula-hooping, inflatable games, and limbo; and embrace the old west with a mechanical bull and country music out West. LepreCon Detroit

Paw Patrol Live! “A Mighty Adventure”

Macomb Symphony Orchestra
To celebrate its 50th season, the Macomb Symphony Orchestra and its Music Director Andrew Neer will perform accompanied by Detroit Symphony Orchestra flutist Amanda Blaikie. The Body Eclectic ‘25

Rinaldo
Handel’s classic baroque opera about a knight’s quest gets a modern-day spin in this riveting production directed by Louisa Proske. While recovering from surgery in a hospital room, a boy finds himself swept away in a fairy tale world of sorcerers, monsters, and magic. As he battles mythical beasts in his mind as the brave knight Rinaldo, the young girl in the bed next to his fights for her life in the real world. Now-March 2. $30+. Whimsical Juxtapositions
This art exhibit features the work of Mike Kelly, a Detroit pathologist turned artist and his daughter, Kelly. Pushing Boundaries
This art exhibit features the work of seven highly regarded Michigan artists who push boundaries with their work. The Angel Next Door
This “comedy that’s in love with theater, about people in love with theater,” is set in a Newport mansion in 1948 and features playwrights, actors, a “young star-struck author,” and the housekeeper who would like nothing more than for everyone to leave. Confederates

Kairos
Ann Arbor’s Theatre Nova will host the world premiere of this new play by Lisa Sanaye Dring. Gina and David find their newly official union tested when a revolutionary medical procedure offers to extend life indefinitely for a small group of patients, leaving the newlyweds to grapple with the weight of love and commitment in a post-mortality world. Hip Hop Evolution: Celebrating 50 Years of Hip Hop Photography
This photography exhibit highlights the history of hip hop through the lens of photojournalist Andre Smith. It includes iconic images of legends in the genre including DJ Cool Herc and Queen Latifah. Bangladeshi Diaspora Exhibit
This first-ever exhibit exploring metro Detroit’s Bangladeshi American community includes artifacts, textiles, folk art, and even contributions from area students. Now-May 11. Detroit Talent Show
On Wednesday, March 5, UFO Bar is throwing a Detroit Talent Show where fun is the only skill necessary. Hosted by Auntie Ely, entry is $5 and winner takes the pot. Day of the Dude
Then on Thursday, March 6, Bowlero is celebrating Day of the Dude with live music, $9 White Russians and a Big Lebowski costume contest. Detroit rock bands The Beggars and Dirty Copper will be playing in the lounge, and WDET’s own Ryan Patrick Hooper [[host of In The Groove weekdays noon to 2 p.m.) will be DJing.
