Interesting considering that there are larger sized vehicle options you can request with Lyft and Uber.

^ Another reason not to be an Uber or Lyft driver!
Discrimination against plus sized people is no joke. They have their setbacks, but that does not mean they should be kept out of any services.
Plus size has a range. I'm plus size, fairly tall. Wearing a size 16-18 [weight 190-200+], owning a compact and small sedan car and work, active, sit and stand well. Fly regularly w/o problem or inability to be seated. I've used Uber/ Lyft transportation even after knee surgeries.
This woman is extremely, morbidly, obese. Well above moderate accommodations [which she REFUSED to request per the larger vehicle option that both Lyft and Uber offer]. That's BEYOND plus size.
Additionally, per her own words she "don't' know" [perceive] her own weight level! From her thinking a transportation driver lost their job [income]! Her weight impacting others directly. Really? Is this what we're doing now!?
I'm glad a few of my friends/ family no longer consider Uber or Lyft for income. Why bother when you're punished for denying someone into your own personal car unable to even use a seat belt!

^ Understood. Most airlines require very 'overweight' people purchase two seats. Lyft and Uber offer their larger XL and Comfort class vehicles as well. I wonder if this factor will be brought up in court?

With all that algorithmic wizardry, you would think those companies would have a questionnaire for one time or repeat customers about weight, girth and other considerations. I mean, you fly, you order halal, or kosher, vegetarian, whatnot, you have a particular disease, they will serve you accordingly. A simple taxi ride these days should accommodate people in finer detail. A judge will have to consider what kind of customer-provider exchange happened on the day, and if she was a repeat customer.
I’d not want to be forced to transport someone too fat to buckle up.
^ So what would you have done?
It would be illegal here [no seat belt used] as one of our primary MI driving laws. But she insisted he drive her.
But who would get the ticket?
And who lost their job?

Such a 'questionnaire' may be deemed biased [beyond even the sometimes challenged 'unconscious-bias' type].
Unless the identifying, consideration markers, etc are determined to obtain an unquestioned advantage/ benefit!

Let's not forget that per her own statements, she didn't "know" her own size, or how large she is. Likely, she would've replied that she could fit in any vehicle... indeed, this is the claim here
Good!
Fat and stupid.
She could not sit in the standard interview chair/ seating during the Breakfast Club show [0:19]. A couch had to be brought forth for her.
