Sheetz will try again to open a truck stop location in Downtown Fraser on 14 Mile Rd. and Utica Rd. That includes demolishing the Historic Fraser State Bank Building.
I would like the Fraser City Council to vote NO NO NO on Sheetz. It doesn't belong a bedroom size downtown area.

But, but Danny, when all cars are EVs in twenty years, the third gas station on that intersection will become "historic", too…![]()
Sheetz Truck Gas Station owners want to put their location on Gratiot Ave. and Utica Rd. in Downtown Roseville, MI. And demolish the Historic Sacred Heart Church in the progress.
Fight to save the historic church and pleading to Roseville City Council by voting NO NO NO!
Oh! More Bull 'Sheetz!'
Macomb TWP. has given Sheetz Truck Stop Gas Station the green light to open their second [[Macomb TWP.) location on 23 Mile Rd. and North Rd.
Here is the proposed site.

That map is 6 yrs old. The actual site is the opposite corner with the now defunct CVS building on it.

Damn ninnies.
Progress, if you like it or not.
Fraser? at Utica and Gratiot?
Why not?
Buy the old church and sit on it.
Yes, the southeast corner, according to Proposal for new Macomb County Sheetz location passes.
Someone had to be escorted out of the meeting by police: Protestors challenge new Sheetz locations in Macomb County.
I wonder Malik Shabazz would say if he protested against a proposed Sheetz Truck Stop Gas Station....
"We will burn it down."
Sheetz sounds like a great place for a freeway exit, but some of these proposed locations don't make much sense. My mom used to work near 14 Mile and Coolidge and I still shop at the Meijer's store in that neighborhood. The last thing they need is more traffic. It's always a congested mess over there.
Sheetz should be at Hall Rd [[stroad). Not in a country road.Yes, the southeast corner, according to Proposal for new Macomb County Sheetz location passes.

Well Royal 'JOKE' city ' CLOWNSIL' has approve a Sheetz Truck Stop Gas Station on 14 Mile Rd. and Coolidge HWY. So be prepared for traffic jams and headaches. And the owner of the BP Gas Station has already lost!
Next stop how to build a Sheetz Truck Stop at Allen Park?
Allen Park to hold meeting addressing proposed Sheetz gas station,
residents voicing concern
The Sheetz saga has been unfolding for months, with contentious council meetings and unanimous votes. Some communities have welcomed the gas station chain, while others have shown it the door.
The proposed Sheetz Truck Gas Station will be on the corner of Allen and Park Rd. and Southfield Stroad.
It's best to put Sheetz in this area near I-94 FWY.

It is not a "truck stop"; it is a gas station that has above average food and more shopping than your standard gas stations. That said, a lot of gas stations in the Detroit area burbs are known for their food and even have small restaurants inside. This is no biggie.
It's a truck stop in my book.
They are NOTHING special. They have their own fast food but I didn't see anything on the menu that made me lose my mind.
Bucees is the place worth going to!
Planning to see the Tigers/Seawolves next weekend in Cleveland/Akron. I like to check out where I might stop along the way and seems like there's a Sheetz at every exit. In Cuyahoga Falls they are demolishing the Sheetz to make way for a bigger one!
