The early reports sounds like the DFD and the fire codes did a heck of a job keeping this contained to one unit. High rise fires can become a disaster fast when mistakes are made especially in weather like last night.
I had an ex whom lived their 10 years ago. Those towers are very drafty and cold this especially this time of year. Those windows need replacing. The circuit system need updating in the us renovated apartments. The elevators are constantly breaking down. Wasn’t there a fire there only a few years back. I wouldn’t be surprised if a space heater used was the culprit to this fire
^ Yeah it was going downhill a bit my last visits [ten+ years back]. There was the smell of weed on those elevators when working. Drafty windows too!
Well I'm just happy that it wasn't an ordinary fire but a distinguished one.
