Does anyone out there know what is happening to the property at the corner of Janette and Riverside? The owners have put up fencing and cement barriers around their property on both sides of Janette and signs have gone up on the property with the names of both the developer Farhi and the contractor PCR construction. This site is scheduled to be the home of a 28-storey tower and I'm hoping that construction has finally started after two years of delay. If it's built this would be the largest residential development downtown in 40 years.

Maybe moving the Rencen over there instead of demolition?
