Interesting Freep uses the headline "gun found in car" when the brothers informed the officers immediately there were two guns and where they were located. Both were registered also. No word yet on why this is being further investigated.

How many more times are the Lions going to take these hits from Jamo? I could see them moving on from him at the end of his deal. It's too bad because he's made great strides on the field. Off the field is the problem.

I really hope this is his wakeup call. But, it's also why I believe younger players need almost constant guidance when off the field/court/ice. Williams is only 23 years old and just not fully mature yet.
Then he gets handed millions of dollars, and he's probably not ready to handle it. Going out, partying, using forbidden substances, beliving that he is untouchable.
And unfortunately, being black, the last thing he should have been doing is cruising around with a gun.

He's still too young to understand that, wanted or not, he's a role model, and he needs to be projecting a much better picture of a professional football player.

If this Freep story is accurate it's pretty clear Jamieson acted entitled "I play for the Lions bro". Then the officer's sergeant justifies the entitlement. "you're a hero" and then let's him off. On the other hand apparently the gun was registered. He didn't have the carry permit. It's not like he was waving it while walking down the street. The way Americans obsess over every kind of firearm this is hardly the crime of the century.

IIRC the registered firearm must be unloaded and, in the trunk, if its owner is not in possession of his CPL. Otherwise, it's a felony. Jamo's gonna' need a Wayne Fontes-style cocaine miracle to escape charges. But there's a precedent.

I go occasionally with my old college roommate. Our tickets are on the third level in the end zone. One would refer to these seats as being of the nosebleed variety.

i am a devoted fan, not rabid, just devoted and I wouldn’t drop that kind of coin on any ticket, for anything. Hell to the awhellnaw.

Folks drop stupid money on tickets. Especially when you really can’t see the game that well and you get insightful commentary from some fat guy, who has the breath of a urine cake, screaming how the linebackers aren’t dropping off in coverage fast enough.

The Big Crowd Energy is infectious though.

As in a beat down. I am aware Bears fans very much enjoyed coming to Ford Field in the past. What I will find interesting is will they want to make that trip when they will be most likely be huge underdogs. The Lions have made several opponents pretty miserable about being in Detroit as of late. A fundamental difference from years gone by.

You have to assume they bought their tickets as soon as they went on sale since they wouldn't be dumb enough to pay current secondary market prices. The diehards will still come because with the longer schedule they're still in the playoff hunt although I imagine a lot will sell for a tidy profit.
