This looks very interesting at first peek. I just learned of this from a social media post by Thomas Surgue, author of 'Origins of the Urban Crises' [my favorite Detroit book ever along with 'Working Detroit"]. Sugrue says he was a producer. Off to watch it.

You can thank Black Godfather King Kwame Kilpatrick and his mafia administration and the city 'clownsil' for Detroit's largest municipal bankruptcy in Michigan History.

When Duggan became Detroit's great white hope mayor. He wasn't doing mayoral duties for a while. When the grand bargaining plan came in, That is when Detroit got out bankruptcy and Duggan can run as Mayor of Detroit.

Black and white leaders in Detroit do have the power to change face in our hoods. But we Detroiters must fix ourselves first before to can fix our hoods.

The post bankruptcy of Detroit is based from Robocop films. When OCP took over Detroit's municipal businesses its police depts. Suddenly you have a delta city revival with gentrified hoods and the poor folks kept out.
