Last night's loss means it's the Knicks next weekend, a series that will put the Pistons in the national spotlight. Pistons can win if the refs let them play tough, physical defense the same way they beat them on Wednesday.
Between the Pistons' return to the playoffs and the success of the Lions and the Tigers, Detroit is about to become a great sports city again. A shame about the way the Red Wings have been though.
That falls in the lap of Stevie Y. He's done a piss- poor job of rebuilding the Wings since he took over.
I don't follow the Wings as closely but the lottery luck hasn't helped. A couple of top scorers make a huge difference in the NHL. Have any other teams been successful without a top 1-3 pick?
