It would be nice if the Tigers go to the World Series and the Lions the Super Bowl and both win. Could the city handle back to back championships? Had Detroit ever experienced two teams winning a championship within the same year or season? I would still be over excited if the Lions win the Super Bowl even if they finally went I would be happy but excited if they win. The Tigers had a chance to win the World Series in 2012 with 3 great pitchers and 2 sluggers but they blew it for some reason they shut down the 3rd game. The Lions winning would set this city on edge

Watching the game and noticing that today the Astros are wearing an orange jersey. The Astros and the Tigers have the same colors, but the Tigers never wear any orange, yet a good part of Comerica Park is all orange. Orange in the home uniform would be nice. I know purists don't want any changes made to the home uniform, but a slight nod to their other color, orange, would be nice. Instead of a Meijer advertisement emblem on the home uniform, how about the round baseball Tiger emblem in its place. There's only a subtle touch of orange in it and the round baseball Tiger emblem is an emblem that's been a part of the Tigers organization for decades. I was shocked that the alternative Motor City uniform has no orange and is all blue [[jersey and pants) with black tire marks. Just awful. Absolutely awful. But go Tigers!

Pay the Tigers one dollar more than Meijer when their contract is up and you can get your Tiger emblem. Otherwise pretty sure already know it's not happening.
