Seems to perfectly fit the narrative of kicked upstairs. It was beyond time for him to go, this year's version of the pistons was the worst team I can ever remember. They were comically bad; with all their high draft picks this was a disgrace.

May 16 - annual ping pong ball date. With another high pick, if not Wembanyama, hopefully a top 3, return of Cunningham, Duren, Ivey and room to sign a veteran forward who can actually play, they should have a really solid core going forward. Then again, nothing goes right for Detroit teams these days.
