Default Favorite Places for Spring in Detroit

Spring is rolling in and months and months of warm weather are in front of us. Soon the flowers will go crazy, like they do every year along this little strip in Milwaukee Junction.

For me and my family, for the last 28 years we've made a Good Friday pilgrimage downtown to have lunch [8-10 of us] and then go to the Belle Isle Conservatory for annual photos. We used to go to Hoy Tin's in the River House apartment building on the Gold Coast, and when that closed we went the last 15 years to the New Parthenon. Of course the restaurant closings and Pandemic and now Conservatory dome reconstruction is playing havoc with our tradition... But we will do something tomorrow...

And this spring the family wants to do the Riverwalk... since they've not been there before.

Happy Easter to you and your family Lowell!!
