I have a 3 volume set of Baist's Detroit Street Atlases from the 1920s for which I would like to make digital copies to donate to the historical society or public university. DPL, MSU, and U of M libraries have printed volumes, but none have ever been digitalized for easy public access. The Library of Congress has digital copies of Washington DC https://www.loc.gov/item/87675193/
and I think it would be great if these Detroit maps could be made available as well. The 3 volumes contain over 100, 24x24 inch detailed maps so it would not be an inexpensive project I imagine. I have reached out to the above institutions already, but thought someone on this forum have some knowledge to impart.
