Volkswagen is developing their first EV Battery Giga Factory in St. Thomas, Ontario, not too far from Detroit-Windsor.

1,500 acre site.

Operation/opening planned for 2027.

This has become the era of the mega-battery factories. It's great that our international state and provincial region is getting so many of them along with the EV production facilities. Congrats to St. Thomas.
