A rezoning change is requested to build a major residential complex on the corner of Riverside Dr. E. and Hall Ave., a lot empty since 2014 when the one time legendary male strip club Danny’s was demolished. Developer Dino Maggio wants to build a five storey, 42-unit building. There would be underground and surface parking. The fifth storey would contain a “scenery loft.” But area residents in the Pierre-Hall-Moy neighbourhood have concerns about the height and its “monolithic massing” on an angled footprint. City staff say the project, with a minor adjustment, would meet planning standards. – 12/21/22
