In 2034 I'll be 98. Have hopes of making it. The 2051 is a stretch.

It is one of the few tournaments you can go through qualifying to enter, although you may have to hope they change that no carts rule.

Looks like the USFL will set up one of its 2023 hubs at Ford Field. More information Thursday.

Hopefully this fills in some lost revenue to downtown business due to the Pistons and Red Wings poor seasons

I didn't hate the USFL last year. There were plenty of names I recognized as a college football fan. Sure it wasn't NFL quality--but it didn't need to be. Football is fun no matter the level.

If they can draw 15,000 a game in Detroit and get some people spending money downtown, that's a win!

Not sure how long it will last [[again) but it provides a reasonably priced ticket to see some decent football in the city. Lions tickets are north of 150 bucks these days. Also makes use of Ford Field, which sits empty most days.

I'd go watch a Panthers game or two, assuming they aren't looking for NFL caliber ticket prices.
