Default Seeking Catallo housing project information

    Hello to all.
I am wondering if anyone has any information on the Albert L Catallo housing project from the 30s and 40s in Detroit. My mother in law’s family [[Faulkenberg: Iris, Gary and Beverly) lived there and she has fond memories. My wife is interested in finding anyone with memories or information or pictures from there. It would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks so much.

There's some footpaths leading to what was Hunter School located at 530 S Colonial. The building was demolished in 1996. Famous alum was Dr Ben Carson. Some info found here: http://mixerrreviews.blogspot.com/20...school-in.html

Interesting and colorful site. From the satellite view it appears to now be a trucking / logistics parking and storage site. The area to the west is a junk yard heaven and to the east urban prairie. Many interesting Rouge River dockage sites nearby along with the famous Fordson Island.

    Hi Henry

it was located on Fordson Rd. My wife believes it was used as a housing project between 1942 and 1951.
