Default Lake cyanobacteria "The plan.. is to work out a plan for a study"

The plan, according to Mausolf and Miller, is to work out a plan for a study on Lyngbya in the area, funded half by the Army Corps and half by Macomb County, soon after the initial report comes out. https://www.detroitnews.com/story/ne...o/69544728007/

Macomb County wants to know what can be done to fix the algae growth, said Miller, the public works commissioner.
Since becoming commissioner in 2017, when the "muck" problem was a prevalent issue, Miller focused on reducing what she considers to be a cause of the growth of Lyngbya — sewage.

Lol seriously, how about dealing with it in the same manner that everybody else does in the country,it does not matter fresh water or salt water, this stuff has been around for decades and millions have already been poured into studies.

Its not like it just appeared as a new thing to deal with.

They can call the Pond store locally and they can tell you everything that you need to know without wasting millions in taxpayer monies in order to fund a study that there is a wealth of free information on already out there.

And stop dumping crap into the water ways that does not belong there.

This is code speak for,who is going to pay to have the canal dredged, which is what needs to happen,if the water cannot be flushed out through the natural way of things then it needs to be helped.

You can see in the picture it is a small cove of sorts that creates a dead zone of water flushing so the water becomes stagnant and a collection point of toxins and causes nasty things to grow.
