    About Waterworks Park Tower, HistoricDetroit.org says it was demolished in 1945, but I could swear it was still there in the 1950s when I was a kid. After a little digging I found this item but can't verify the source.

    I guess I was mistaken as was Emporis. I asked Dan Austin of Historic Detroit and he confirmed the 1945 date.
