Default Respects to Officer Loren Courts who was gunned down in Detroit

My deepest condolences to his family, friends and coworkers.
Officer Courts was a hero to respond to that call so bravely and making sure that the criminal with a gun was removed from our city streets one way or the other. This is a very sad situation for all involved but especially for his wife and children who lost a husband and father.

May you rest in peace Officer Courts. You didn't deserve to have your life cut short by some street punk. Prayers and strength for your family. May their pain pass quickly.

I hope Officer Courts was allowed to buy an ice cream cone.

It all started in the hood.

    1. The person and his friend went to gun shop in E. 8 Mile Rd. and Gratiot Ave. And brought a gun. And he gave the gun to his friend.

    2. The gunman is tired of his life having mental condition, he went to vacant Detroit West Side storefront apt. on Joy Rd. near Hubbell Rd. and start a shooting spree.

    3. That alerted Detroit Police and try to stop the shooter.

    4. The shooter came out and starting shooting at the police and shot one of them. He was dead instantly. Its partner shot the gunman, He was dead instantly.

    5. Now that friend of the shooter will be charged with illegally 'giving' a weapon to someone even that his friend was a convicted felon. That is indeed a federal crime part of gun control measures that still works.

All of my life I grew up the ghetto hoods of Detroit, there already will be gun totting yahoos running about robbing, shooting and killing anyone that stands in their way. When an officer down, it will be reported in the news more than the criminal.

This was one of the saddest police shootings in a long time. It was a case of suicide by cop and a truly decent man died because of it. RIP Officer Courts.
