HW... you've been here long enough.... why is your thread title so poorly worded? Thread titles should make it easy for future searches. This one will end up in the dead zone once it ages off the 1st page of DYES Discuss Detroit. And who/what is "Shrub"? A Google search only returns foliage and mixed drinks...

Now back to the topic at hand... China has the right idea about how to persuade people not to engage in large scale fraud of public/private funds... EXECUTION!!

^ not for nothing but they only do that with politicians that fall out of favor with the party and use the fraud as an excuse, otherwise it is rampant.

Good to see the Feds are staying vigilant but it is not any different then anywhere else, times sure have changed it was a rarity for city workers to live in a $700k house in the past.

If the thread is about an article, an easy way to title it is to just use the title of the article. Editors usually put extra effort into crafting concise headlines.

Point well-taken. And yes, Shrub is Dubya who famously said “Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?”
