Default Inn on Ferry Street Closes

This article is from last year but I just now saw it. Posting for anyone else who may have missed it.

Shuttered Inn on Ferry Street in Midtown Detroit won't reopen [[freep.com)

A shuttered boutique hotel in Midtown Detroit composed of several Victorian-era houses has not reopened since the pandemic and the historic houses could be repurposed for other uses such as offices or residences.

Sad to see, but the pandemic has hurt a lot of businesses.

When you see the prices [[600K to 1000K or more) of residences in the City Modern area of Brush Park, made of modern cheaper materials, these historic restored well built homes with lots of stone and brickwork, they should be able to fetch north of $1 million each, especially since they are in a historic district, adjacent to the museum district, and 1/2 block to the Q-Line.

Would they do well as Air B&Bs?
