    Default TCF Center in Detroit changes name to Huntington Place

    TCF Center in Detroit officially renamed Huntington Place [[freep.com)

    The TCF Center has officially been renamed Huntington Place after the two namesake banks merged, the Detroit Regional Convention Facility Authority and Huntington National Bank said Thursday.

    Anything other than Cobo Hall. So glad they took that bums name off the arena.

    At least until the next merger. They should just use led signs for putting up the name. Too bad Crypto.com Place is taken.

    Funny how their 20 story HQ on Woodward Ave isn't even open yet, and they've already undergone their 3rd name... from Chemical Bank, TCF Bank, now to Huntington Bank...

    .... so will there be Huntington ATMs inside the facility? A small size bank branch?

    LOL! I've been referring to it as the 'old Cobo Hall' center.

    IMO, Tee-See-Eff was a horrid name for a bank - no less any building!

    Not as bad as Fifth Third Bank. But so goes today's naming conventions, Zeal, Vibe, etc.

    And the outdoor music venue in Clarkston is Pine Knob.
