Deserted Streets in Dearborn Near Michigan Ave and Wyoming

There are two streets: Eugene and Porath in Dearborn, off of Michigan Avenue and Wyoming, that are literally deserted. There are maybe three or four houses on each block and the streets are in desperate need of repair. Are the homes that remain hold-outs from some development plan that didn't happen? Exits and entrances to I-94 surround the two blocks. Did everybody else just leave because of the traffic noise that comes from those exits and entrances? What gives?

Someone deserves credit for cutting all that grass! Aside from the pavement, it doesn't look too bad.

Good question. Looks like every house still there is well kept, and going back to years past on Streetview several good looking homes were demolished one by one.

Beside Eugene and Porath Streets in Dearborn. There used to other neighborhood streets in Dearborn near Michigan Ave. and Wyoming St. until the Edsel Ford FWY. splice it in half.

Today Eugene and Porath Streets are Dearborn's blighted streets. And there are no signs on development there.
