    Default Christopher's Restaurant 12735 W Chicago

Any chance anyone here might know of this restaurant. Would have been active late 1950's early 60's. West side Detroit near Meyers

Interesting view from Google street view. Looks like it later became the Blackstone Lounge featuring Jazz and Blues.

All I got is this, there are multiple ads for other positions in the Free Press. I see a Christopher's Restaurant mentioned in the paper as being on 4181 Dix in Lincoln Park. Are they the same people?

Thank for the posts. Yep I have road by the location. It was called Christopher's Restaurant when my father owned it for a bit in 1962 before I was born and I am just trying to learn more about it.

    4181 Dix was Symak's in the late-50s to 70s.
Not sure what it was before then.

Isn't that closer to a monthly salary now for a 'staff anesthetist'?

Well there's anesthetists and anesthesiologists. The latter pull in mid-six figures annually, minimum. I imagine the anesthetists would make somewhere in the low six figures...

That would be a great knickname for a bartender.
