    Default Artillery Armory

Where on West 8 Mile is/was the Artillery Armory and if it's gone, when and what happened to it? Thanks

Were you on a bender last night? The OP asked where it was. The link answers that plus gives some photos of the Armory, which I thought were pretty cool. Everything else can be taken with a grain of salt.

I wandered around that place off & on for 6 long years. The 1st & 2nd battalion of the 182nd Artillery were located there. Funny, 6 yrs. doesn't seem nearly as long these days. Back then it felt like forever.

Thanks to everyone. I used to go there for the auto show before Cobo Hall opened.

I remember seeing Roger Ward at the auto show there. 1970? 71?
