Just wondering if anyone caught Duggan's talk at this year's Mackinac Conference. He gave the talk along side the City's new planning director, Antoine Bryant. The tone of the talk seems to represent a shift in how Duggan has spoken about the city in the past. Where before Duggan relentlessly touted concrete improvements to basic city services, he now speaks about building a Detroit for the future. He kept passing questions over to Bryant and expressed a great deal of excitement for him.

Bryant's background is in community focused development and neighborhood revitalization. Compare this to Maurice Cox, the previous planner, who specialized in Parks and large-scale projects.

here is the talk, I'd love to hear your thoughts!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuv9OR3cCPc
