Their list looks outdated. The Book Tower should be #4 at 144.78m

[regarding the Broderick Tower:] However, redevelopment has been underway and the tower is set to reopen in early 2010. Planned is a mall on the first four floors, office space on the two floors above and residential apartments on floors 5 through 34.

I have an almost abandoned to add to the list. Down here in SW Florida, we have twin 20-plus-story condo buildings on the Caloosahatchee River. Occupancy of one of the towers? ONE family. And they are desperately trying to off their place. No takers.

the pac bell building sold in 2007 for over 100 million. one could probably buy all the Detroit skyscrapers for that much.

If we can include abandoned-before-completion there's this monstrosity in Pyongyang:

It's a hotel meant to resemble a rocket and designed to provide room for thousands per night. This is in a country which only allows a few hundred visitors a year. With much of the population starving the government abandoned the project due to cost. And because the structure has been exposed for so long it may no longer be stable.

Then there's Ponte City in Johannesburg, another absurdly monstrous tower. The rich lived in the upper floors while their servants lived below. Its totally hollow interior core was filled with garbage up to the third level. This was definitely abandoned for years but I believe it has recently been renovated for low income housing.
