    Detroit fire captain arrested after crashing department vehicle under influence of alcohol, sources say [[clickondetroit.com)

    A Detroit fire chief’s SUV was found dangling above the Lodge Freeway at Milwaukee and Baltimore early Monday morning.
    This incident comes one week after a Detroit firefighter on the east side crashed a fire engine. The department said he was driving drunk.

    It's always been a VERY stressful job and drinking has probably been hidden until it started to get to this level!

    Pretty hard to defend these two incidents. Like, damn guys! Gotta at least pretend to keep it together.

    At the same time, this is a massive cry for help to the families, friends and community of those firefighters. Chances are there is some bad news floating around the team or some sense of impending doom prompting these events.
