2. A noticeable population decline in the city of Detroit is confirmed as census counts are released.
3. Duggan wins a third term, despite a heated race and lower voter turnout.
4. Pistons narrowly make the playoffs
5. COVID cases and deaths in Michigan gradually peter out throughout the course of the year.
6. The Auto Show goes on as scheduled in October.
7. Detroit Grand Prix goes on as scheduled, but without fans.
8. At least one more riot will occur in Detroit, with tear gas and possibly at least one broken window.
9. Another chain retailer opens in downtown Detroit.
