How's about a round-a-bout at say Seven and Greenfield?
Ugh. No. There'd be anarchy worse than it already is there ......

Most of the traffic circles I've seen are in ex-urban areas where the traffic is light. These are good spots to educate American drivers in their use with low stress easy to use circles. My least favorite circle is located partly under freeway underpasses. It has a three dimensional aspect to it with directional signs in inconsistent and unexpected places.
The use of four way, sometimes more, traffic signals seems to have encouraged more drivers to run red lights rather than be stuck waiting for a long light to turn in their favor. "The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety reports that red-light running alone caused 683 deaths and a staggering 133,000 injuries in 2012". That's another reason for expanding the use of traffic circles.
