1. This is a “civil RICO” lawsuit filed by numerous employees of FCA US, LLC, who work at the Chrysler Toledo Jeep plant and are members of the United Auto Workers union. They are suing FCA, the UAW and several individual officials of both organizations for engaging in a pattern of racketeering by conspiring in a bribery scheme to defraud plaintiffs out of wages, benefits and seniority."

Here's an interesting fact that I learned about twenty years ago from a fellow who was an executive at Solidarity House. The majority of UAW's revenue is derived from its investment portfolio. It realizes far more income from Wall Street than it does from membership dues. All of UAW's culture and behavior makes sense when you know this simple fact.
