Default Is Black Lives Matter is really just a Super PAC for Democrats?

If you go on Black Lives Matter's website, and click the "Donate" button,.. it takes you to a URL for ActBLUE.
    https://blacklivesmatter.com/
    https://secure.actblue.com/donate/ms_blm_homepage_2019

    Here's what THEY say about themselves;
    Powering Democratic candidates, committees, parties,
organizations, and c4s around the country.

    You can look up their expenditures to see what they spend their money on;
    https://www.opensecrets.org/pacs/exp...cmte=C00401224

    Bernie 2020............................... $186,780,034.00
    Biden for president...................... $119,253,857.00

I don't believe that Black Lives Matter is intentionally stoking these protests/riots for the purpose of benefiting the Democrats, but I have no doubt that most of the major media outlets are. And just like many of the protesters, they're not even bothering to cover their faces while they're doing so.

Expect anything else from the masters?

Notice how the left quickly said no,they do not want to admit the plantation still exists.

Question is,where did they get the money?

    I have a few ideas.

    BLM is a registered PAC.

George Soros, Facebook, Youtube, Apple etc are all donors to Black Lives Matter. [[Soros gave $33 million in grants to them through his Open Society Foundation)

Looks like Dem candidates are getting a healthy return on those investments. Invest tens of millions to fund rioting, burning and killing,.. then watch it multiply as the "Useful idiots" donate hundreds of millions.

Then use THAT money to fund leftist candidates to keep those very people enslaved in poverty.

Soros is a smart man. Not to be underestimated. [[I just wish he'd use his brains and money for good, instead of evil).

Kinda ironic though, looking for systematic change, while supporting those who have created the very system that you are fighting against.

Trump has been there 3.5 years while the others have been there for over 40.

So you think basic human rights is evil?....You should stop listening to Candace Owens and Ryan Fournier.

OK. Here's the deal: many black people agree to the specific core concept of 'black lives matter' above and beyond the organization. But not everyone black person's signing onto the BLM politic org full-out as it is now far beyond championing black civil and and human rights at this point.

Additionally, not all black people are taking the knee either! Nope. Understanding how that act/ symbolism has changed from a symbol of protest against police brutality [[Kaepernick etc) to political virtue signaling/ pandering and subservience [[Pelosi and others, etc).

I'll set it out while they eh' sort it out! I bow to NO secular political org. And we need more than PC photo-ops.

Not a Trump voter but the 'whatever' concerns me... the take-down may be tear up the whole nation.

As it stands the nation is split in half. You're standing over here or there. Whole families and communities etc. in uproar and split based on rather you are hard right or hard left... so it goes. If you're not part of ANY of that you've learned when and were to pick or fight battles.

But history has shown the US to be more resilient than we think, as presidents come and go.

If you don't like it, then don't donate to it. Simple as that. Remind me again which side of the political fence gave us such gems as "corporations are people, "Money is free speech," and foisted legalized dark money Super PACs on the American political landscape that operate without transparency?

Cry because the Left is using your own tools against you. You were fine with it when it was the Koch Brothers using dark money Super PACs to funnel hundreds of millions of dollars to Republicans.

Commit to banning Super PACs or keep right on crying! I'm fine with either one you choose.

^^^ Hah-how's about that! Thankfully, and a bit wearily I might add, more black people than two or three, are accustom to looking at every-side-of-politics relative to 'Tools' created on our behalf and turned back upon us ......

I agree with about half of your post. I think all PACs should be abolished, or @ the very least, be totally transparent. I don't think anyone was singing the Kroch brothers praises. On the other hand, if you like to read, just for kicks, read Clinton Cash. It's a good insight into how both sides, left and right, are being manipulated, and what their agendas are. Neither side is innocent. One thing about the top rich, they aim to stay that way, and @ your expense. Don't forget it was Uncle Bill that put the skids under the American middle class. Divide and conquer.

^^^ Yep. I agree HT. I don't know why people think only the right covet and strive to ensure means to capture their riches; towards more power and political advancement - all day LONG.

Perhaps the dems do it a tad less [[with more promises to help the down-trodden so the pandering goes)......

What's interesting to me is Uncle Joe has ties to Ukrainian oil. Here come the Bushes, oil men, forming a Super PAC to support Joe Biden. Of course, it's only to dump Trump, the evil one. They're only doing it for America!

Both sides are guilty but it was one side that got us to this point...

It was the 2010 Supreme Court decision in Citizens United v FEC that removed the ability of the government to regulate or restrict spending by Super PACs and created the current environment that allows billionaires to buy elections. Remember in that case, the plaintiff [[Citizens United) was an astro-turfed conservative PAC that wanted to flood the airwaves with anti-Hillary attack ads in the weeks running up to the Democratic primaries, which at the time was illegal as corporations and labor unions were prohibited from running "electioneering" ads within 30 days of a primary or 60 days of a general election. So they sued on the grounds that it was a violation of their First Amendment rights, conservative political groups rallied to their cause, with liberals and the Obama Administration siding against them [[and against having unrestricted dark money in our elections). The court split 5-4 in favor of Citizens United, purely along ideological lines [[all 5 Republican-appointed justices voted in favor, all four Democratic-appointees voted against), thus famously declaring that "money is free speech" and "corporations are people", and therefore corporate entities, unions, and other organizations can freely spend to their heart's content on our elections with almost no restrictions as long as they weren't giving directly to candidates beyond the established donation limits or coordinating directly with candidates.

But yes, big surprise for Bigdd I'm sure, "Black people support the Democratic Party." News at 11. Only one thing matters in American politics thanks to Citizens United and that's $$$. Black people are just finally playing the game that white conservatives created. Don't hate the player, hate the game, but Bigdd seems to want to selectively hate only certain players.

Yes, I do find it amazing that for so many years, blacks in this country have so blindly supported:

    The party of slavery.
    The party of Jim Crow.
The party that fought against women's suffrage.
The party that fought against school busing [[It was a Repub governor that had to call out the 101st Airborne to escort that little black girl into school).

The same party seeks to imprison minorities with welfare.

But they're waking up,.. and it has the Dem establishment freaking out.

The bigger issue is not Dem v.s. Repub [[who are really on the same side at the top),.. it's really about establishment v.s. us.

The Kock, Soros, Rockefeller, Clinton, Fed Reserve, Standard Oil, GE, etc, etc........... v.s. the best interests of "The people".

We now have an outsider in the WH,.. who's fighting those people tooth and nail,.. and doing so for free. Loosing millions actually.

And the establishment can't stand it. They must attack him at all times with everything they have. FBI, CIA, media, Antifa, BLM, you name it.

You seem to be buying what the elites are selling, hook line and sinker.

What black people clearly need is a white conservative like you to tell them how they should think and who they should support. I, on the other hand, am content to let them decide that for themselves. Anyways, yes, I'm sure they're waking up and will hand Trump the largest share of the black vote that any candidate has ever seen! Bigly huge! Trump wins 100% of the black vote in November! I guess we'll just have to wait and see! But hey, I'll make my prediction right now, Trump will get 7% of the black vote in November.

FYI, Bigdd, did you know that Trump's father Fred Trump was arrested in 1927 for marching with the Ku Klux Klan in New York City?

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Trump#1927_arrest

Ironically enough, they were marching to protest police violence as they viewed the "Roman Catholic" police of NYC as being guilty of "assaulting" the white Protestant population of NYC. Fred Trump was among the Klansmen arrested for refusing to disperse when ordered to by the police. Hmmm, some today might look at that action and call him a terrorist. Perhaps he should have been shot in the face with a rubber bullet.

This whole thread was started on the false accusation that BLM and ActBlue have anything to do with each other besides the fact that BLM uses ActBlue as their donation website. None of BLM goes to ActBlue, and you falsely listed other candidates that use ActBlue like some sort of gotcha saying that BLM somehow supports these candidates without anything to back it up.

Instead of trying to actually find what they spend donations on, you just listed a completely different PAC's expenditures and assumed to were slick.
