For years I drove past Mr. Fofo's while returning from my Cass Corridor haunts to my Highland Park house watching it expand from a small shop to take over the whole corner. Located on 2nd and Hazelwood it was a bright spot and hub of activity on the otherwise quiet residential route.

He laid claim to "The World's Largest Corn Beef Sandwich" and sported the sign "Thank you Detroit -- Together we are doing it -- The one and only Otis Knapp Lee Propietor" Farewell Mr. Fofo.

Didn’t he have a spot at Greektown Casino for a short while? I haven’t heard that mentioned anywhere. Maybe I’m wrong about that.
