Default How to Find Corona Virus data for individual states and localities

In response to a PM request by a forum member on how one could find data for the State of Georgia I have created this illustration for narrowing information for individual states and localities. Begin at the Johns Hopkins tracking site then follow the instructions below.

I have found a direct link to Michigan, which I posted, in the CoV news thread, but have yet to figure out how to create one for individual states or localities. This one is particularly good as it allow to drill down by zip code.

Perhaps one of our many cyber-capable member knows how to do that?

^^This^^ takes you to the national graph of when cases and deaths will peak, how many beds the country will be short. Click the box "United States of America" to go to any state. For instance, Michigan is expected to have a peak of 173 deaths/day on April 11. By May 6, Michigan is projected to have 0-1 deaths/day. Compare with Ohio.

The following link compares states per capita infection and death rates per million.

Michigan has the fifth highest per capita death rate of all states. The 11 states with the highest death rates all have Democratic Governors. That could be coincidence of course.

For domestic information, the New York Times and the Washington post have extensive coronavirus data and analysis. You won't need a subscription.

The CDC also has a great deal of covid-19 info. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019...ses-in-us.html
