Default In 7 days, GM retools plant, makes masks

Reminiscent of WWII war plant conversions, GM is bringing a Warren level 1 face mask plant online in seven days.

The masks are level one, meaning they cannot be worn in surgery, but rather are worn by delivery people and others who keep the hospital and communities running.

GM is studying how to make surgical masks for medical personnel once it perfects level one mask production, said Monte Doran, GM spokesman.

    Good news... thanks Lowell!

In these awful times it is necessary to fully protect those in peril... especially when they work in order to keep the rest of us stocked up while we are hunkered down.

These [[supply chain) providers... farmers and above all medical care professionals, will be our new heroes... just like 'first responders' were in 9/11.

That creates a positive image for Detroit. “Motown” can step-up and take care of business when the chips are down. Something to be proud of. Bye the way, Meijer’s had toilet paper on the shelve today.

The difference between now and the 40's is WE made everything HERE! Now everything is outsourced overseas. I say this should be a wake up call to bring our business back home. The guy living out in the sticks knows how to make things and find food. The guy in the city is clueless and relies on the government to take care of him. This is proving we need to be prepared for anything at all times-no matter how crazy it seems.
