Default 'Ain't nothing like a Detroit party' apparel...

Saw this fella sporting a 'Ain't no party like a Detroit party' shirt last summer at PDX [[Portland) as I was about to sky up for DTW. Where are they selling these fun shirts?

I believe he means, get on a plane, in street vernacular.

You can find these shirts at any number of gas stations in Detroit. But to get in the door you will first have to make your way thru numerous young, able-bodied men begging for bus money, or trying to sell "loosie" cigarettes, or at some locations stolen "Cardi" sunglasses. Be safe.

Interesting. I've been stuck at SEA-TAC for the past 2 weeks, one more to go, and this phrase has somehow popped back in my head. Maybe because I recently [[back in December) watched the Russian Five documentary on a Delta flight and vividly remember - I think it was Darren McCartey coined the phrase. And yep, it sure was a city-wide, block-by-block Detroit party. And then...

Start filling your car up @ the Valero on Mack & Mt. Elliott. It'll give you quite an education.
