Default Jack Scott, Detroit's First Rock n Roll star, dies

From last month, but I just heard about it.

    Never heard of him, unfortunately.

I saw Jack quite awhile ago at a record convention (signing albums, etc) The line was long but I happened to be at an adjacent dealer and was right next to him. He was a legend from the old school - when music could be remembered after hearing it just one time

All you had to do to hear his music from 1958-1960 was turn on the radio. He was very popular in the Detroit area. He had 4 national top 10 records, and 5 others that charted, in those years.

I just heard this one just today.
