    I think he means that's how many holidays there are during this season. I could be wrong and he means something way different, but that was my take.

    Interesting thing about Hanukkah, it used to be one of the minor Jewish holidays. Only in about the last 30 years has it become more big time.

    I just say the specific holiday greetings towards the person celebrating even if it is not my religion [[Ramadan Mubarak, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanza).

    Or I go with the general 'Merry Christmas, Happy New Year' as they are the major holidays celebrated in the US this time of year.
