...and in from the email bag...

    Hello!

My name is Nicole Wrona, I’m a longtime reader of DetroitYes & a member of the Michigan chapter of Docomomo— a non-profit organization devoted to the documentation + conservation of buildings, sites and neighborhoods of the modern movement.

We are hosting a tour this Saturday, "The Shape of things to Come: Reclaiming the Legacy of Detroit's Black Architects," & will celebrate architect Nathan Johnson's legacy, as well as that of other early black architects in the city.

I would love if you had a moment to check out the link & maybe post it on your “Weekend Things to Do in Detroit” list [[which we used last week & went to the Bat Festival on Belle Isle)! if you think it would appeal to your readers.

The Detroit News just featured a profile about Nathan Johnson today!

Thank you so much for your time!
