Skunk smell in downtown Detroit

Seriously, sometimes when walking from my parking spot in the Ford Underground parking lot to my office I get a strong smell of skunk spray. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just imagining things? I know there are pheasants between Ren Cen and River Place, but skunks?

Everyone on the eastside this morning is reporting the strong smell of gas/chemicals, but most suspect it's the Stellantis plant. Maybe the parking garage attendant is smoking weed?

It's weed. Last time I caught a ball game the entire stretch of Woodward from Foxtown to Grand River reeked of it. I don't care if people smoke, but if it's going to smell like that where an open-air restaurant is, I'm not eating at that restaurant.

Watching police bodycam videos is my new guilty pleasure on Youtube, and the number of people pulled over that are dumbfounded that police know they are smoking weed is astounding. "I can smell it coming from your car from *inside* my car," is my favorite quote.

One I've heard and used but never verified is to sprinkle coffee grounds in the area. The theory is that they associate that smell with humans and so stay away.

Jimaz... skunk weed is actually among the most potent... highest THC content among strains of Marijuana... or so I hear...

When I go bike riding around St. Clair Shores... I can often smell the skunk weed smell from the street... usually teens playing basketball and smokin' a doob... and that's just the lingering smell, even though there's no one around anymore.
