When I lived in Detroit I recall a Caribbean festival that included a Carnival type parade going down Woodward and ending at Hart Plaza the second weekend in August. Is that event still held in Detroit?

I lived in Detroit during the late 70's Hart Plaza ethnic festivals. They were great fun. What happened?
