Live chats with Detroit city council and charter candidates

Starting next Tuesday, September 8, 2009, FreepOpinion.com will host half-hour, live chats with candidates for Detroit City Council and charter commission on the Nov. 3 ballot.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for six weeks, council candidates will chat from noon to 12:30, charter candidates from 12:30 to 1 p.m. They'll answer questions submitted by readers in real-time. This will be the only chance [[I'm pretty sure of that) for the general public to question all of the candidates for these offices.

I suspect there might be quite a few people in this forum who'd like to participate.
